Your data lives on your phone. We don't have servers, we don't have accounts, and we can't see your workouts, your weight, your meals, or your cycle — not because we promise not to look, but because the data never reaches us in the first place. The one exception: when you search the food database, your search term (like "greek yogurt") is sent to a U.S. government nutrition database to fetch calorie and macro data. That's it. No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no selling anything to anyone.

fitBITCH ("the app," "we," "us") is a women's fitness and wellness app for iOS. This policy explains what information the app handles and where it goes.
When you use fitBITCH, the following information is stored in a local database on your device only:
We never receive, transmit, store, or have any access to this data. There is no fitBITCH server. There is no account. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it (see Section 7).
Cycle tracking in fitBITCH — periods, symptoms, fertility estimates, Partner Mode — is computed and stored entirely on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere, and we could not produce it in response to any request, legal or otherwise, because we do not possess it. Partner Mode displays guidance inside the app on your phone; it does not send your logs, symptoms, or dates to anyone.
When you search for a food, the app sends your search text to USDA FoodData Central (api.nal.usda.gov), a public database operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to retrieve nutrition data. As with any internet request, the USDA's servers receive standard technical information such as your device's IP address. Your search is not accompanied by your name, your logs, or anything else from the app, and we do not see it either. Results are cached on your device so repeat searches often skip the network entirely. The USDA's own privacy practices are described at fdc.nal.usda.gov.
If you never use food search, the app makes no network requests at all.
Your data persists on your device for as long as the app is installed, so your history can span years. Deleting the app deletes all of your data — permanently and immediately, since no copy exists anywhere else. You can export your data anytime in the app (Settings → Export Your Data) — spreadsheet-ready CSV files and a complete JSON archive. Exports go only where you send them via your device's share sheet; we never receive a copy.
fitBITCH is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children (see the Terms & Conditions, Section 1). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including minors — because we do not collect personal information at all.
Your data is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID, device encryption). Because there is no server copy, there is no server to breach. We recommend keeping your device passcode-protected.
We plan to offer optional accounts with cloud sync so you never lose your progress. When that ships, this policy will be updated first, and syncing will be your choice — local-only will remain the default. Any material change to this policy will be posted in the app and at the URL where this policy lives, with a new effective date.
Depending on where you live (e.g., California, the EU/UK), you may have legal rights over personal data such as access, deletion, and portability. Because your data lives only on your device, you can exercise all of these directly: view it in the app, edit or delete anything you logged, and delete everything by deleting the app. If you believe we hold any personal data about you (e.g., from a support email), contact us and we'll handle it.
